Los Frailes coffee is produced on a farm in Fredonia Antioquia by Mr. Pedro Nel Maya the farm produces different types of coffee.

 

The rate test of this coffee (“en taza”=in cup) has obtained between 84 and 87 points out of 100, rating it as a very good quality coffee. It has AA sustainability certificates, with coraantioquia for environmental sustainability and good practices in coffee management.

 

The natural method is the oldest and most traditional way of processing coffee cherries, where the grain is dried only with air and exposure to the sun, without the use of equipment or water, which makes it an environmentally friendly product. The coffee cherry is dehydrated or dried without removing any of its parts (pulp). The result is slow drying, up to 35 days, with a higher concentration of sugars in the grain.
