The country produces approximately 10% of the world’s coffee, cultivated by over 500,000 small-scale farmers in diverse regions, each offering unique flavor profiles. Despite challenges like climate change and fluctuating global prices, Colombia continues to innovate and sustain its legacy, supported by strong farmer cooperatives and a global reputation for exceptional coffee.

COLOMBIAN
COFFEE AXIS

The Coffee Axis is a Geographical, Cultural, Economic, and Ecological Region of Colombia, formed by the departments of Caldas, Risaralda, Quindio, and Antioquia, whose capitals are Manizales, Pereira, Armenia, and Medellin.

It is in these sectors that much of the coffee production is carried out, is an important engine for Colombia.

Unesco declared The Coffee Axis as a world heritage site, to recognize its landscape and culture so representative of the Colombian coffee tradition. Being a very attractive area thanks to its colonial Antioqueña Architecture, its tropical climates, and a variety of theme parks that offer the best experience.
